Terms of Payment

   Curious Works Antiques accepts as forms of payment personal checks, cashier’s checks, all major credit cards, and PayPal. Purchased item(s) will be shipped once charges are accepted or your personal check has cleared the bank. All South Carolina based sales require 6% sales tax unless the purchaser has a valid South Carolina sales tax number.

Shipping and Handling

   Shipping and handling fees are paid in addition to the purchase price of items. All items are shipped insured either as Priority mail via USPS or via UPS second day delivery unless other arrangements are made.

Return Policy

   I know how difficult it is sometimes to buy something online. Pictures are not the same as viewing an object in person. I want you to be completely happy with everything you purchase from me. 

   I guarantee every item that I sell to be as described on my sales receipt. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, I will take it back for a full refund of its purchase price.  You must contact me within three days of receipt via phone or email. All sales to the trade are final.

   If you return an item, the object must be in “as sent” condition, properly packed, insured for full value, and shipped to me via two-day service. The purchase price will be refunded upon my determination that the item is returned in the same condition as it was sent. All shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and are not refundable unless an object was misrepresented.

IMPORTANT NOTE regarding antique ivory: Offerings may contain animal material that may be restricted under federal, state and/or local law. Those items will not available for shipment internationally, nor within the USA to California, New York, Nevada, Hawaii, New Jersey, Oregon, and Washington.
